Plantronics Declares Quarterly Dividend of $0.05 per Share

SANTA CRUZ, CA, Jul 22 (MARKET WIRE) --
Plantronics, Inc. (NYSE: PLT) today announced that its Board of Directors
declared a quarterly dividend of $0.05 per share. The dividend is payable
on September 10, 2008 to stockholders of record at the close of business
on August 8, 2008.
"We generated approximately $34 million in cash flows from operations in
the first quarter of fiscal 2009. Our Board of Directors is pleased to
continue to return a portion of our cash flow to stockholders directly in
the form of a dividend," said Ken Kannappan, President and Chief Executive
Officer.
