Arluck Promotions: Ford Racing Partners with Barbasol Shaving Cream in Unique Marketing Campaign

MIAMI BEACH, Fla.--(Business Wire)--
Miami-based Arluck Promotions manages a unique marketing
opportunity through the promotion of products, events and people on
cans of Barbasol shaving cream. Ford Racing is the first company to
utilize this creative method of building awareness for its inaugural
season of the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge for the Miller Cup
professional racing series.

   The cans, which will be on the shelves of retail outlets across
the country this summer, feature a white Ford Mustang on the front.
The back of the can includes the series schedule, web site and
information about a chance for a consumer to win a free VIP Weekend to
Miller Motorsports Park for the series finale.

   This one-of-a-kind program, available through agreements with
Arluck and Perio, Inc., offers companies the ability to create unique
content on the back of the can as well as logo placement on the
legendary barbershop-pole designed front. The cans are then viewed by
men on a daily basis for the duration of the its life, about three
months. According to Barbasol, the average can is viewed roughly 100
times.

   Arluck's relationship with Barbasol began in 2005 when Olympic
swimmer Gary Hall, Jr. was featured on 12 million limited edition
collector cans as part of the Barbasol "Real Man" campaign. A portion
of the proceeds from the sale of those shaving cream cans was donated
to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Adventures for Wish
Kids. Hall was diagnosed with Type-1 diabetes in 1999 before going on
to win six Olympic medals.

   Barbasol, which has existed since 1919, is produced by the Dublin,
Ohio based Perio, Inc. who have developed the brand as one of the most
recognizable products in retail.
