 REPO TENDER
 The central bank will hold its regular two-week repo tender
to drain liquidity from the market.

 INFLATION OUTLOOK
 Slovakia's annual EU-norm inflation rate is expected to be
4.3 percent at the end of 2008, and price growth rate should
slow to 3.9 percent at the end of 2009, according to a central
bank poll of analysts.

 SKYEUROPE CUTS ROUTES TO IRELAND
 The Slovak-based budget airline SkyEurope SKYV.VI said it
would cancel routes from Slovakia to Ireland this winter due to
declining interest among passengers and slowing Irish economy.

 ENERGY BILL
 President Ivan Gasparovic has signed into law a bill
boosting the powers of the state energy market regulator in the
area of heating prices. The new law also tightens approval
procedures for building new power sources.

 EURO COSTS
 Slovakia's financial sector will incur costs of more than 7
billion crowns ($366.3 million) related to the euro adoption
next January.

 EXTREMISTS MEETING
 Officials of Hungary's radical party Jobbik and Czech
National Party held an informal meeting in Bratislava on Monday.
A junior Slovak government member, the Slovak National Party,
said the two parties abused Slovak soil for radical activities.
