Romac says will not revise offer for Supporta

LONDON, July 22 | Tue Jul 22, 2008 2:26am EDT

LONDON, July 22 (Reuters) - Romac Investments said on Tuesday it will not revise its offer for 28.2 percent owned public sector business services firm Supporta Plc SOR.L after an approach last month was rejected.

"Romac has been considering its options, one of which included making a revised proposal to Supporta," Romac said.

"However, having assessed all of the available options, Romac has concluded that it is not at this time in the interests of its stakeholders to continue discussions with Supporta in relation to a revised proposal, and so does not currently intend to make an offer."

London-based Supporta is valued at around 25 million pounds ($49.93 million). (Reporting by Hsu Chuang Khoo; editing by Sue Thomas)
