Galiform Q1 profit down, cancels interim dividend

LONDON, July 23 (Reuters) - UK kitchen maker Galiform GFRM.L reported a fall in first-half pretax profits and said it would not pay an interim dividend due to tough market conditions.

The company said on Wednesday profit before tax and exceptionals for the 24 weeks to June 14 fell to 20.1 million pounds ($40.29 million), compared to 24.8 million pounds a year earlier. (Reporting by Marc Roca; Editing by Quentin Webb)
