SANTA MONICA, CA, Jul 23 (MARKET WIRE) --
The LA Tech Scene gathered on Thursday, July 17th at the Viceroy Santa
Monica for a prestigious event -- Twiistup (http://www.twiistup.com) --
celebrating the best and brightest in new and exciting internet companies.

An exciting range of new and innovative companies earned a showcase spot
to present their wares and compete against each other for the "Best in
Show" award. As the evening progressed and the votes rolled in it became
clear: This year's Twiistup attendees believe in creating positive change
in the world.

At the end of the night, Mike Macadaan, co-founder of Twiistup, announced
that Tools To Life (http://toolstolife.com), a Santa Monica-based
social-network offering a supportive community and interactive multimedia
self-help programs, took the win as Fan Favorite of the Show Off
competition.

Tools To Life, which launched January of 2007, came to Twiistup to
demonstrate their line of multimedia self-development courses. They
launched their latest course, "Start Living Green Tools," an eleven-day
course that promises to teach anyone how to begin living a more
environmentally conscious lifestyle.

"In light of all the recent information coming up in the media and blog
world, we all know we need to start caring more for our environment. So we
went out and found Green Home Builder Renee Lafair. We asked her to find
out how the average person who wants to be more 'Green' in their daily
life can effectively become more green," says Greg Johnson, Director of
Marketing at Tools To Life.

The course, delivered via Tools To Life's web-based multimedia learning
platform the Toolbox, will be publicly available for free August 1st,
2008.

When asked a few days later what he had to say about his Company's victory
at Twiistup 4, Tools To Life Founder Devlyn Steele had this to say:
"Twiistup is an amazing event that gives new tech companies an opportunity
to gain exposure. It was an honor to be amongst great new tech companies,
and a highlight to be selected as fan favorite. This will create more
exposure and traction for Tools To Life to continue using web 2.0
technology to bring people together to support each other to create real
change in their lives. Special thanks to Mike and Stephanie Macadaan for
their work in putting this event together and giving us this opportunity."
