set of storage appliances featuring NexentaStor at this week's OSCon 2008.
These storage appliances, called the StorageDirector Z-Series, deliver
enterprise class NAS functionality built upon the ZFS based NexentaStor
software on integrated Pogo Linux hardware platforms.

The StorageDirector Z-Series NAS appliances leverage NexentaStor and the
ZFS file system to offer many advantages including inherent virtualization to
pool storage resources, improving scalability and utilization. In addition,
customers can scale without limits as, unlike legacy storage solutions, there
are no limits on file system sizes or on the number of incremental back-ups.
The appliances also include search capabilities to manage highly granular
backup policies, and end to end data integrity to eliminate the risk of silent
data corruption that impacts many SATA based solutions.
