HOUSTON, July 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Go Healthy, Inc.
(Pink Sheets: GOHE) announced today that the company has signed a production
agreement to appear on The Economic Report, hosted by Greg Gumbel. Go Healthy
will be featured in an upcoming episode called The Competitive Edge for
Today's Athlete as part of the show's Living Healthy for an on-the-go Society
series. The episode is currently in production and is expected to air in the
fall of 2008. The Economic Report will be aired on Fox Business as well as
other networks.
Charlie Caudle, CEO of Go Healthy, Inc. states, "We are thrilled to be a
part of the Economic Report production. Their program works with some of the
best companies in the world and we are proud to be working with them to
highlight our company and our products. We believe that this appearance,
coupled with our broader, ongoing marketing campaign will allow us to build
our brand awareness and increase our market exposure. Whether they're going
for the gold, headed for the hall of fame or simply striving for their
personal best, today's athletes know the importance of replenishing their
energy. Our combination of products, including Cholesterade(R), will address
the vital needs for nutrition in both the athlete and the general population
from an early age throughout the entire life span."
Dr. Fran Pirozzolo, Chairman of Go Healthy's Medical and Scientific
Advisory Board, best known as the Mental Skills Coach of the World Champion
New York Yankees during the dynasty period of the late 90's and the turn of
the century, is leading the development of additional clinical studies to
expand on the Yale Study which demonstrated the reduction of a normal 24 hour
period of recovery was reduced to 4-6 hours with the Go(R) Energy Recovery
Shake. Dr. Pirozzolo stated, "Our research with world class athletes
competing on the world stage such as Venus Williams, one of tennis' great
performers, and Bernhard Langer, the ageless golf wonder competing on both the
PGA Tour and the Champions Tour, will help us provide kids and athletes with
the proper timing and dose-response mechanisms for enhancing performance."
"The difference between a good athlete and a great athlete is a matter of
degree. It's a move that is a split second quicker. A drive that's just a
little stronger or endurance that transcends mental desire," says Go Healthy
CEO Charlie Caudle. "Go(R) Energy Recovery Shake is a unique fuel that helps
feed that desire. It's one of the keys to fueling thousands of successful
athletes at the prep, collegiate and professional levels."
The five-minute feature, which will be filmed on location in Texas, will
include interviews with Caudle and others. It will educate viewers on the
importance of replenishing vital nutrients needed to restore tired, overworked
muscles. It will also introduce the company's cholesterol-lowering drink,
Cholesterade(R), developed by Dr. Cade as he had a personal cholesterol
problem. As a delicious beverage, it delivers over 6 grams of dietary soluble
fiber per drink with only 40 calories, and will enable the medical community
to finally have a delivery vehicle for compliance with the NIH Guidelines for
treatment of cholesterol issues prior to consideration of statin intervention.
A manufacturer and distributor of health products that were developed by
the creator of Gatorade(R), the late Dr. J. Robert Cade, Go Healthy, Inc. is
headquartered in Spring, Texas.
