Prominent Kuwaiti Businessman Discusses Reasons for $9 Million Joint Venture with i2Telecom in CEOcast Interview
Says He is "So Excited About Future of i2Telecom, He Wants to Be a
Business Partner, Not Just a Large Shareholder"
ATLANTA--(Business Wire)--
i2Telecom International, Inc. ("i2Telecom(R)") (the "Company")
(OTCBB: ITUI), a developer of award-winning patented and innovative
high-quality Voice-over-Internet Protocol ("VoIP") products and
services and CEOcast, Inc. announced today that CEOcast has conducted
an interview with Raed A.H. Rajab, a prominent businessman in Kuwait,
who discussed reasons behind his entering into a Memorandum of
Understanding ("MOU") with i2Telecom. Mr. Rajab recently executed an
MOU for a strategic joint venture with the Company to expand its
operations into a number of international markets by the end of this
year. Through established sales channels, Mr. Rajab will provide $9
million in funding for operating and marketing expenses incurred by
the joint venture during the next twelve months involving the launch
of i2Telecom's award-winning MyGlobalTalk(TM) and other telecom
offerings into these markets.
In the interview, Mr. Rajab noted that, "I did not want to just be
an investor in the Company like I have in the past. As an investor, I
have sold my stock after it has made me a profit. Because I am so
excited about the future of i2Telecom, I wanted to be a joint venture
partner where I would have a direct interest in the business, and not
just a large shareholder. I am very impressed by the patents they have
and excited about the Company's future. I look forward to helping the
Company grow in the Middle East."
In response to a question surrounding marketing initiatives, he
noted that, "I have already spoken to many companies to translate
i2Telecom's web pages into Arabic so its products can be marketed
through the Internet. Already, many companies have MyGlobalTalk on
their web site. Telecommunications calls, particularly overseas ones,
are very expensive. People want these those kinds of calls. While
there are many products that are being marketed illegally through the
underground, we plan to market the company's products legally using
the Internet, marketing companies and newspapers. Already, we have
contacted 50 newspapers about doing articles."
