RNC Chairman Launches 'Victory 2008 Tour'

WASHINGTON, July 23 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Republican National Committee
(RNC) Chairman Robert M. "Mike" Duncan today launched a three week "Victory
2008 Tour" to meet with state GOP leaders and discuss John McCain and the
Republican Party's strategy for victory in 2008.  During his tour, Chairman
Duncan will travel to target states -- including Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio,
New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Florida, and North Carolina -- to discuss the
Party's voter registration, microtargeting, GOTV, and fundraising efforts
leading up to Election Day.

John McCain 2008 Political Director and Deputy Campaign Manager Mike DuHaime,
RNC Political Director Rich Beeson, and RNC Strategy Director Bill Steiner
will travel with the Chairman during his tour and meet with leaders from the
McCain Campaign, RNC, and state parties, as well as local leaders on the
ground.  

The RNC and McCain Campaign have methodically built an infrastructure in
nearly 20 target states, including 122 McCain and Victory offices with
hundreds of operatives.
