MBM Achieves Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Status; Employees and Excellent
Service Are Key Factors
APPLETON, Wis., July 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Modern Business Machines (MBM), an
Appleton-based document technology management company, today announced it has
attained Gold Certified Partner status in the Microsoft Partner Program,
recognizing MBM's expertise and impact in the technology marketplace. Gold
Certified Partners represent the highest level of competence and expertise
with Microsoft technologies and have a close working relationship with
Microsoft.
Points to reach this status are earned through Microsoft technical
certifications, customer references and sales of Microsoft licenses. Since MBM
does not actively market and sell Microsoft licenses like the typical
Microsoft partner, their Gold Certified Partner Status has been earned through
employee certifications and customer references.
"The key to our accomplishment is our client references which are a
testament to our employees commitment to our customers," said Fritz Merizon,
president and general manager. "It's something we're all very proud to offer
our clients and businesses in Northeast Wisconsin."
Over 95 MBM employees work in sales, customer support, service and
operations to help businesses operate more efficiently by designing,
installing and supporting document technologies that manage the flow of
electronic and physical documents throughout the workplace. Employees are
continuously on call to ensure print services, document management
applications, network fax systems, production imaging, variable data
applications and other solutions are consistently contributing to the
productivity and workflow efficiency for their clients.
"Since the day my family founded the company, we have believed that the
only meaningful point of difference a company can maintain is remarkable
customer service," said Merizon. "All three generations of MBM leadership have
built the business with the knowledge that customers who are thrilled with
your products and services will themselves become promoters of the company and
this honor proves our success."
With this recent status from Microsoft, employees now have more resources
to stand out in the marketplace, including the resource of a Microsoft
technical services coordinator, access to the Partner Knowledge Base on
Microsoft.com, and other top-level benefits.
"We place tremendous value on our partners, which help us deliver
solutions and applications to customers," said Allison Watson, corporate vice
president of the Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft Corp. "Solutions
competencies provide an integrated partnering framework that recognizes a
company's expertise and rewards it for the effect it has in the technology
marketplace. "
The Microsoft Partner Program was launched in October 2003 and represents
Microsoft's ongoing commitment to the success of partners worldwide. The
program offers a single, integrated partnering framework that recognizes
partner expertise, rewards the total impact partners have in the technology
marketplace, and helps partners' businesses be successful.
