Tres-Or Resources Ltd.: Lapointe Pipe, Ontario-DMS Processing Progress Update

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Jul 23 (MARKET WIRE) --
Tres-Or Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: TRS) ("Tres-Or") is pleased to
provide an update on the progress of processing the Lapointe Kimberlite
macro-diamond test at the Stornoway Diamond Corporation ("Stornoway")
dense media separation (DMS) facility in Thunder Bay, Ontario. This
facility is operated by Microlithics Laboratories Inc. ("Microlithics"),
under agreement with Stornoway, and Stornoway in turn has agreed to
process the Lapointe sample for Tres-Or at cost.

The Lapointe Kimberlite sample was collected in February, 2008, from a
single, large diameter RC drill hole, and represents approximately 60
tonnes of in-place kimberlite. This sample arrived at the DMS facility
from secure storage at DRA America (DRAA)'s independently controlled
warehouse facility at the end of June, 2008, and the preliminary
concentrate has been completed.

The preliminary concentrate from the DMS facility is being further
reduced by caustic fusion procedures at the Microlithics lab in
preparation for final diamond picking. Results will be announced upon
completion.

Tres-Or holds 100% interest in the Lapointe pipe subject to a 5.0% Net
Profits Interest granted to Arctic Star Diamonds Corporation. In
circumstances where Tres-Or receives an offer to acquire an interest in
Lapointe or Tres-Or determines to sell, assign or transfer any of its
interest in Lapointe, then Stornoway shall have a 30 day period in which
to accept or match the offer in order to exercise its first right under
the agreement.

Harrison Cookenboo, Ph.D., P.Geo., a Qualified Person by the standards of
National Instrument 43-101 has reviewed and approved the contents of this
news release. Dr. Cookenboo is responsible for the design and
implementation of the work programs.
