First Bank of Delaware Names Alonzo J. Primus as Chief Executive Officer

WILMINGTON, Del., July 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- First Bank of Delaware
(OTC Bulletin Board: FBOD) today announced the promotion of Alonzo J. Primus
to Chief Executive Officer.  Mr. Primus retains his titles as President and
Chief Operating Officer.  Harry Madonna will continue as the Chairman of the
Board of Directors.  Mr. Primus is also a director of the company.
    "Alonzo has performed in an exemplary fashion as president and in each of
the positions that he has held at the First Bank of Delaware," said First Bank
of Delaware Chairman Harry D. Madonna. "He is a young and talented individual
and the Board of Directors believe he will continue to make First Bank of
Delaware grow and its shareholders prosper."
    Earlier in his career, Mr. Primus worked for Summit Bank in Princeton, New
Jersey and CoreStates Bank in Philadelphia.  He holds a B.S. in Accounting and
Finance from Drexel University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Temple
University.  He has been a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania since
1998.  Mr. Primus lives in New Jersey with his wife and daughter.
