Details: During the regular meeting of the SEPTA Board, the heroism of 18-year
veteran bus driver Harry Haus will be recognized.  

After completing his regular work shift on the evening of Wednesday, June 9th,
Mr. Haus rendered aid to Philadelphia Police officers as they attempted to
restrain a violent burglary suspect at Bustleton & Harbison Avenues.
 
SEPTA General Manager Joe Casey will be joined by Captain Michael McCarrick of
Philadelphia's 2nd Police District and Stephan Walters, SEPTA Assistant
Director of Comly District in recognizing Mr. Haus' exceptional efforts.
