Wireless Phone Service Improves in Michigan

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., July 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless continues to
improve its Michigan network. So far this year, the company reports, it has
spent $64.5 million dollars on new cell sites and other upgrades that give
customers clearer reception and fewer dropped calls. That makes it a $1.7
billion investment in Michigan since the company was formed in 2000.
