Thai PTT Chemical to acquire a stake in Malaysian jv

BANGKOK, July 23 (Reuters) - Thai PTT Chemical PTTC.BK said on Wednesday it agreed to pay 104 million euro ($164 million) to acquire a 50 percent stake in a Malaysian joint venture from German chemicals maker Cognis [COGN.UL].

PTT Chemical, the largest olefins maker in Thailand, said in a statement the deal was expected to be completed by September.
