FACTBOX: Military deaths in Afghanistan

(Reuters) - One British soldier was killed and two were wounded on Tuesday when their patrol came under attack in southern Afghanistan, Britain's Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.

Here are figures for foreign military deaths as a result of violence or accidents in Afghanistan since the Taliban government was toppled in 2001:

Britain 111

Canada 88

Germany 26*

Spain 23

Netherlands 16

Other nations 75
