Taipei govt aims to raise $1.4 bln in Fubon stake sale

TAIPEI, July 24 (Reuters) - The Taipei city government plans to raise T$43 billion ($1.4 billion) through the sale of its entire 15.01 percent stake in Fubon Financial (2881.TW) as soon as next year, an official said on Thursday.

The government planned to sell the shares at T$35 each, said John Lin, commissioner of the city's finance department.
