Blast in northern Iraq's Kirkuk kills 10, wounds 54: police

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - An explosion in the city of Kirkuk in Iraq's north killed 10 people and wounded 54 others on Monday, police said.

The explosion happened as thousands of demonstrators gathered in the city to protest the passage of a controversial law on provincial elections through parliament.
