Kitchen Academy is Newest Addition to Culinary Portfolio
HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill.--(Business Wire)--
Career Education Corporation (NASDAQ:CECO) announced the launch of
Kitchen Academy Seattle, a professional culinary school distinguished
by its proprietary Accelerated Training System(TM) which allows a
student to finish a program in as little as 30 weeks. The 19,747
square-foot school, which opened in early July, is located in Tukwila
and features five custom-built kitchens with commercial grade
equipment. The student workstations, equipped with LCD monitors,
provide an optimal setup for chefs in training.

Beverage at the award-winning Embassy Suites Hotel - Portland
International Airport. Gene Fritz, director of education, is a native
of the Seattle area. Fritz previously served as executive chef and
culinary educator Washington State University, where he developed the
student-operated restaurant concept.
