The Company announces that on 30 July 2008 it purchased 300,000 Ordinary shares
for cancellation at a price of 116.5p. Following this transaction the number of
Ordinary shares in issue is 26,086,985, none of which are held in treasury.

The number of Ordinary shares for the purpose of total voting rights is
26,086,985.
