SORL Auto Parts Announces Date of 2008 Annual Meeting of Stockholders

ZHEJIANG, China, July 31 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SORL Auto Parts,
Inc. (Nasdaq: SORL), a leading manufacturer and distributor of commercial
vehicle air brake valves and related auto parts in China, announced today that
its 2008 annual stockholder meeting will be held at 1:00 PM China Standard
Time (UTC +8) on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 in the Beethoven Room at The St.
Regis Hotel in Shanghai.  Stockholders of record as of the close of business
on July 16, 2008 are entitled to notice of and to vote at the 2008 Annual
Meeting.  Proposals to be voted on at the annual meeting are as follows:
     (1) The election of seven directors to hold office until the 2009
         annual meeting of stockholders and until their successors are
         elected and qualified;

     (2) The ratification of the appointment of our independent registered
         public accounting firm for fiscal year 2008; and

     (3) Any other matters that properly come before the meeting or any
         adjournments or postponements thereof.
