  TORONTO, ONTARIO, Jul 31 (MARKET WIRE) -- 
Compel Capital Inc. (formerly Slocan-Rambler Mines (1947) Limited) (the
"Company") is pleased to announce that all items on the agenda of the
annual and special meeting of shareholders held on July 24, 2008 were
approved by shareholders, including the change of the name of the Company
and the consolidation of the common shares of the Company on the basis of
one new share for three old shares.

    The Company does not have any definitive plans in place for the operation
of the business going forward. However, it is the intention of Management
of the Company to investigate opportunities going forward.
