RHR International Speaks, Honors, and Recruits at APA Convention

CHICAGO--(Business Wire)--

Annual American Psychological Association (APA) Conference to be held
in Boston, Massachusetts on August 14 - 17.

   In a presentation entitled "Impact of Confidence in Leadership on
Commitment to Change," Dr. Nancy Picard, a senior consultant for RHR,
will focus on the theoretical underpinnings of the importance of
leader behaviors that engender trust in, and commitment to, proposed
change initiatives. She will be joined by Daphne Logan, vice
president, Human Resources with America's Second Harvest, who will
focus on how the theoretical framework applied to America's Second
Harvest during a significant organizational change. Juleen Veneziano,
research consultant for RHR, will serve as the discussant and will
highlight the overall issues raised during the session and lead into
the general discussion.

   Dr. Paul C. Winum, managing director of the RHR Atlanta office,
will be on hand to present two awards sponsored by the firm: The RHR
Excellence in Consultation Award, which is given to an individual with
a distinguished career in the practice of consulting psychology, and
The RHR Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award, which is presented to
a doctoral student or recent graduate for exemplary research
contributing to the theory or practice of consulting psychology. Dr.
Winum is also the discussant on the invited address, "The 21st -
Century Leadership Challenges for Virtuous Leaders" presented by Dr.
Richard R. Kilburg.

   Dr. Judith S. Blanton, RHR's director of professional affairs,
will be a participant in an innovative session entitled, "Mock
Licensing Board Hearing - Duty to Protect Whom?" that will involve
role play to illustrate ethical and legal issues in the practice of
psychology.
