NASHUA, NH, Jul 31 (MARKET WIRE) --
Semaphore, a CSE Global company, has introduced a resistance temperature
detector (RTD) interface for its T-BOX line of SCADA system products.
The MS-6RTD interface module is compatible with a T-BOX MS Modular System
and accommodates a broad range of two-wire and three-wire RTD temperature
sensors.
Direct connection of RTDs to T-BOX MS simplifies installation and is
particularly cost-effective for processes using multiple temperature
measurements. Used with one or more MS-6RTD modules, T-BOX MS is
especially suitable to applications in energy management, infrastructure
management, power generation and utilities.
In addition to process control, T-BOX performs alarm management and data
logging and uses push technology to keep multiple recipients fully
informed on the status of all assets. Push messaging includes IP
forwarding, e-mail with attached files, and SMS text. Via an integral web
server, T-BOX serves live and historical information on the Internet or
an intranet.
T-BOX is the first, IP-based telemetry solution that enables the complete
integration of SCADA, control and communications functionality in one
rugged package. It leverages easy-to-use Web technologies and inexpensive
public networks for decentralized monitoring and control systems. T-BOX
products offer up to 50% less total installed cost per point versus
traditional SCADA/ PLC systems and permit greater organizational access to
data through automated reporting and browser software.
Semaphore's T-BOX RTU products are ideal for a broad range of monitoring
and control applications in the broadcast, infrastructure management, oil
& gas, power, transportation and water treatment and distribution
industries.
