HOLLYWOOD, Calif., July 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Hollywood Parts is pleased to
announce its selection by Walden Media to manage and sell the Hero Assets from
their new hit film Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D starring Brendan
Frasier, Anita Briem and Josh Hutcherson. Hero Assets are items that are
featured or touched in a movie or TV production by an actor such as wardrobe,
props or set dressing. Walden Media is a film production and publishing
company best known as the producers of The Chronicles of Narnia film series.
Some of the Hero items for sale are the giant T-Rex skull that the stars
ride up on a flume of steam from the center of the earth as well as the mine
ore cars that are seen in an exciting roller coaster ride through a mine.
Brendan Frasier and the other lead actor's wardrobe and prop items are also
available at a discount.
Hollywood Parts is located in North Hollywood California and was chosen by
Walden Media because of its new and innovative Asset Management Software that
allows production companies to view online all their assets purchased or
created in the making of entertainment product. All assets are listed,
bar-coded, photographed, stored, then can be resold or rented to other
production companies with just a click of the mouse. "It's kind of our way to
help recycle Hollywood," says Mike Filonczuk Vice President of Operations and
Development for Hollywood Parts. "Production personnel don't have to travel to
dusty warehouses but rather go online to view, manage and eventually repurpose
their assets for a larger monetary return and a greener Hollywood."
Movie assets for Journey to the Center of the Earth and other films can be
