Report Provides Insight into Minds of Young Americans

What:  Press Conference & Student Panel to announce results of TheState of Our
Nation's Youth, a nationwide survey that focuses on American teens and gives a
voice and attention to their opinions, apprehensions and aspirations. 

-- Peter D. Hart Research Associates executives to provide results and
analysis of the survey. 
-- A student panel will be present to answer questions and provide opinions on
the topics.
-- Topics include the Presidential Election, role models/mentors, college
preparation, the environment, social media and personal issues such as
bullying, peer pressure and the drive to succeed.

Background: The State of our Nation's Youth report compiles the results of the
national survey conducted by Peter D. Hart Research Associates on behalf of
the Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans. The poll was
conducted via telephone to 1,006 teens between 13-19 years old residing in the
U.S during April 2008. The study is completed every three years and gives
insight into the country's young about issues that are shaping all of our
lives and illustrates the critical value of understanding America's future
leaders.
