onBoard(TM) Mobile Gateway Enables Access to Motorola Broadband
Infrastructure

In Motion Technology, a leader in multi-network broadband systems
for in-vehicle use, today announced that its onBoard(TM) Mobile
Gateway has been certified MOTOMESH(TM) Ready by Motorola. This
certification affirms that the onBoard Mobile Gateway is compatible
with Motorola's MOTOMESH(TM) Duo meshed networks. The Gateway supports
wireless communication with both the single-radio and dual-radio
configurations of the MOTOMESH Duo, providing broadband client access
using either 2.4 GHz or 4.9 GHz spectrum.
MOTOMESH Duo is a powerful, next generation, two radio meshed
network. Part of Motorola's leading-edge wireless broadband portfolio
of products, it's designed to give providers of high-speed public
access and public safety networks the flexibility needed to meet
performance, capacity and ROI goals.
The onBoard Mobile Gateway is a rugged, vehicle-mounted
communications platform that provides wireless access to broadband
networks and assures continuous service by switching between multiple
wireless networks. The onBoard Mobile Gateway can be configured as a
vehicle-mounted broadband modem providing exclusive access to MOTOMESH
infrastructure. Alternatively, the Gateway may be configured to use
MOTOMESH infrastructure where available and switch to other broadband
services, such as public cellular data service, when outside the
MOTOMESH service area.
