Star Gas Partners, L.P. (the "Partnership" or "Star") (NYSE: SGU),

announced today that it will release its fiscal 2008 third quarter
results after the close of trading on August 6, 2008. Members of
Star's management team will host a free webcast open to the general
public at 11:00 a.m. (ET) on August 7, 2008 to discuss the
Partnership's operating results for the period. Management will also
