NATCO Group Inc. Names Sr. V.P. European Operations

NATCO Group Inc. (NYSE:NTG) announced today that Richard "Rich"
Leong has joined the Company as Senior Vice President, European
Operations.

Executive Officer of NATCO. "Rich comes to NATCO with more than 30
years of business management experience. He will be responsible for
all of NATCO's operating entities in Europe. He brings to us a wealth
of experience including business development and general management
skills and broad knowledge of energy equipment technology and
services. He has a notable track record of leading growth initiatives
in global markets. We are looking forward to having Rich on our
management team as we continue to advance NATCO into new regional
markets."

   Recently, Rich served as a member of the senior management team at
Exterran Holdings, Inc. in Houston, and prior to this, he served as
President, Asia Pacific Division of Universal Compression in
Singapore, focused on regional strategies and global business
development.

   Mr. Leong holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical
Engineering from the Indiana Institute of Technology.
