STAINES, UNITED KINGDOM, Jul 31 (MARKET WIRE) --
KONICA MINOLTA are striving ahead in the channel as the number one choice
of printer for the creative design industry by the launch of two
inter-linking campaigns - Get Yourself Noticed and their new,
user-friendly microsite www.mastersofcolour.co.uk.

Konica Minolta are taking a new strategy within the channel through the
launch of their microsite www.mastersofcolour.com. Website viewers will
be able to click through easily into the Where To Buy section, enabling
re-sellers to gain more coverage and inadvertently an increase in sales.
For the prospective consumers, the microsite is a user-friendly portal
for finding out all they need to know about Konica Minolta's printers.

Coinciding with the developments in their channel strategy, Konica
Minolta are launching a series of end user campaigns. Get Yourself
Noticed in association with Marketing Week, ComputerArts and ComputerArts
Projects is a competition to reveal the hidden talents of the graphic
design industry, with the winner being launched into the media as the
rising star of graphic design. With the competition being run through
Konica Minolta's new microsite www.mastersofcolour.com, they have a solid
summer campaign which is running alongside their Cool Offers promotion,
where purchasers can receive either an iPod Touch or a three-year
warranty on the extensive printer range.

Konica Minolta's range of colour printers, particularly the outstanding
colour A3s, are always a necessity to the creative design market and
those who rely on quality and true colour for their businesses' continued
success.

As Mark Lloyd, IT Channel Director for Konica Minolta has commented:
"Konica Minolta printers are essential to this market due to the fact
that we manufacture the only printers that have the technology to produce
absolute true colour."

Sales of Konica Minolta's latest A3+ printer magicolor(R) 8650DN has
tripled it's targets over Quarter One and Quarter Two so far, and is
proving undeniably popular and an absolute necessity for the creative
industries, where quality is an essential to the profitability of their
business.

Both the A3+ magicolor(R) 7450 and 8650DN have won numerous awards
including BLI, Macworld and Digital Arts over all other equivalent
printer models from the other major players.
