U.S. approves two Novartis blood pressure pills
ZURICH |
ZURICH (Reuters) - U.S. regulators have approved two single-pill high blood pressure drugs, Diovan HCT and Exforge, from Switzerland's Novartis AG, the drugmaker said on Monday.
Both combination medicines were approved as initial therapies in patients likely to need multiple drugs to treat their high blood pressure, Novartis said in a statement.
