Iberia confident of net profit for full year

MADRID Aug 5 (Reuters) - Spanish airline Iberia IBLA.MC signalled on Tuesday it was confident of making a net profit for the full year, after booking a 20.7 million euro ($32.07 million) gain in the first half.

Asked for his forecast for the full year, Chairman Fernando Conte said: "To give you a basic flavour, we are of course confident of having a positive result from our operations activities this year, and even more our net result." (Reporting by Ben Harding; editing by Sarah Morris)
