SAN JOSE, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
IDT(R) (Integrated Device Technology, Inc.)(NASDAQ:IDTI), a
leading provider of essential mixed signal semiconductor solutions
that enrich the digital media experience, today announced it has
received the DisplayPort(TM) certified logo from the Video Electronics
Standard Association (VESA) for its receiver and timing controller
device. To achieve the logo certification, the IDT PanelPort(TM)
VPP1600EMG device passed an extensive qualification test by
VESA-authorized independent testing lab, Allion, on the PHY and LINK
layers.

The IDT VPP1600EMG receiver with integrated timing controller is
fully compliant with the DisplayPort 1.1a specification. Additionally,
the device supports full video interface and includes security
encryption through HDCP1.3. The PanelPort family of devices, which
includes 1-, 2- and 4-lane receivers, is capable of supporting up to
WQXGA (2560x1600 @ 60Hz) display mode for monitor panels as well as
two-lane 1920x1080 @ 60Hz for notebook panels and supports cabling of
15 meters for added user flexibility.

"IDT is thrilled to reach this major milestone of receiving VESA's
DisplayPort certification logo for our receiver and integrated timing
controller device," said Ji Park, vice president and general manager
of the IDT Video and Display Operation. "We believe our low-power,
cost-effective, high-performance and highly reliable solutions,
coupled with our excellent service and support, will help drive
widespread adoption of the DisplayPort standard and further innovation
within the video and display markets."

   About the DisplayPort Standard

The DisplayPort interface standard, as approved by the Video
Electronics Standard Association (VESA), is designed to be available
throughout the industry as an open, extensible standard. DisplayPort
was developed to reduce platform costs and drive a common digital
interface across PC platforms and components. DisplayPort allows
high-definition digital audio to be available to the display device
over the same cable as the digital video signal and delivers true
plug-and-play with robust interoperability. It is cost-competitive
with existing digital display interconnects. For additional
information on DisplayPort or on VESA, visit www.vesa.org.

   About IDT Digital Display Solutions

IDT Digital Display solutions provide flat panel display ODMs/OEMs
with next-generation interface and controller solutions that include
extensive collaboration and technical support. IDT also provides
customers with higher levels of customization, reliability and
performance that are only achievable through integrated in-house
timing, memory and serial interface technologies. As part of the IDT
