Reports 100 percent win rate against competitors and closes deal
for the industry's largest end-user monitoring deployment
NEW YORK--(Business Wire)--
Knoa, the leading provider of user experience and performance
management software, today announced that it has its most successful
first half since the company's 2003 inception. The first half of 2008
ended with an extremely strong showing as demand increased for Knoa's
experience and performance management solutions across a number of
industries, worldwide.

Knoa's end-user management solutions monitor application execution
and provide precise metrics about the user experience as well as
measurements on how people interact with software applications. The
software offers an unprecedented level of visibility into the actual
performance of the end-user and provides metrics that help enterprises
improve performance of both the application and the end-user, driving
the efficient and effective adoption of the application that delivers
business results.

Highlights from the first half of the year include:

   -- significant customer momentum

   -- continued product innovation

-- leadership recognition by several prestigious industry
        organizations

-- partner expansion with major ERP/CRM vendor

"At the outset of 2008 we set very high goals for both product
innovation and customer value delivery," said Thad Eidman, chief
executive officer, Knoa Software. "We exceeded our goals in those
dimensions, and our business success is a natural follow-on result."

   Customer Success

Adoption of Knoa's leading-edge solutions continue to accelerate
among Global 1000 enterprises. Knoa experienced a 300 percent revenue
increase from the same period last year, thanks in large part to the
signing of new customers including Amerisource Bergen, DHL, Lenovo,
MeadWestVaco REC Silicon, Roche, Starwood, Sealed Air, and Steel Tech.
In the second quarter, Knoa closed a deal for the industry's
largest-scale implementation of end-user experience and performance
management solutions - with end-users in 120 countries.

Knoa has enjoyed a 100 percent win rate against competitors in
head-to-head evaluations. The company attributes its perfect record to
the fact that Knoa's end-user experience management solutions
simultaneously provide benefits to both IT and business stakeholders -
a unique capability in a marketplace that is dominated by point
monitoring solutions.

Long-time customer British Telecom (BT) has achieved marked
results in both application and business performance management
through its work with Knoa's end-user experience solutions, including:

-- Thousands of new users were brought online in just over three
months, nearly doubling the size of the user population
without a corresponding increase in support staff.

-- The ability to identify very specific end-user behaviors that
improved productivity for hundreds of advisors by 25 percent,
a productivity improvement worth approximately $3 million.

-- An increase in response times--twice as fast--and increased
application uptime, which enabled a 10 percent increase in
        productivity for business service advisors.

-- Reduction in the cost of managing application performance by
        approximately $300,000 per year.

   Technology Innovation

In March, Knoa announced version 5.0 of Knoa Experience and
Performance Manager(TM) (EPM). Knoa EPM 5.0. provides total monitoring
coverage of end-user behavior and experience across enterprise
applications, such as SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Siebel CRM,
JD Edwards, PeopleSoft Enterprise Suite, as well as other major
application vendors or large in-house legacy applications.

With this latest version, Knoa delivered the industry's first
extensible end-user monitoring platform that not only underpins the
company's flagship product, but also supports a portfolio of unique
solutions for any number of corporate stakeholders. Knoa's universal
end-user monitoring platform offers its customers a single end-user
monitoring solution that provides visibility and metrics to support a
diversity of management objectives, ranging from IT's standing mandate
to provide high quality and responsive applications, to the growing
need to manage end-user application usage, to the CFO's requirement to
ensure compliant process execution. Knoa's underlying technology
obviates a plethora of point monitoring solutions that enterprises
have struggled to deploy, integrate and manage to capture the
requisite visibility of end-user experience and performance.

   Industry Achievement

As the value of end-user experience and performance management
solutions becomes more evident, Knoa has been recognized by several
industry luminaries as a leader in its space. Gartner named Knoa to
its "Cool Vendors in SCM and ERP, 2008" report, published on April 15
and in the same month, Knoa won the "2008 Network Products Guide's
Innovation Award" for excellence in end-user experience management.
Knoa was also honored with the "Software Innovation Award for 2008" by
the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA). Knoa EPM was
selected in the category of "Most Innovative Enterprise Software."

   Partner Momentum

Knoa continues to bolster its relationships with major
organizations including Oracle and SAP. In March, Knoa announced a
global reseller agreement with SAP AG through which the company is
reselling Knoa EPM. The solution - called SAP(R) User Experience
Management by Knoa - helps customers maximize the value derived from
their deployments of SAP applications by driving adoption, building
end-user proficiency, and ensuring the application is delivering an
efficient and effective end-user experience.

In the second quarter, the company launched a formal partner
program as a basis of providing additional services and solutions to
its ever-growing customer base. Knoa's strategy includes working with
its partners to co-develop, co-brand and co-market industry-specific
solutions to drive additional value from the end-user experience and
performance metrics that are Knoa's unique domain.

"The achievements from the first half of 2008 are a testament to
our capabilities and Knoa's position as the industry standard for
end-user experience and performance management," says Eidman. "We've
significantly expanded our customer base while ensuring that our
current customers continue to have positive experiences with our
technology. In the remainder of 2008, Knoa will continue to raise the
bar in end-user experience management, providing our customers greater
insight into application, end-user and business performance."
