LOS ANGELES, CA, Aug 05 (MARKET WIRE) --
Recognizing that a strong and successful company is built upon
creativity, teamwork and thinking outside of the box, private equity firm
Triton Pacific Capital Partners, LLC recently completed its second annual
CEO Conference with key members of its staff and portfolio companies, to
help open doors to new ways of thinking.

The annual event brings together principals of Triton Pacific Capital
Partners, along with CEOs of its portfolio companies. In addition, other
key facilitators and support staff attend the conference designed to help
foster teamwork, best practices and a better sense of Triton Pacific
resources available to all its partners. This year's CEO Conference was
held in Ojai, Calif. and focused on developing new ways to approaching old
problems. The offsite gathering also served as a forum in which to
brainstorm and identify specific trends impacting the firm's areas of
focus: Healthcare Services, Software/Information Technology and Basic
Industries.

"The CEO forum sponsored by Triton Pacific was an invaluable opportunity
to not only share ideas with other CEOs of small companies, but also a
great venue for building personal and professional relationships," stated
Char Webster, CEO of ExpoMarketing Group in Irvine, Calif. "Each
participant brought a wealth of expertise and knowledge encompassing a
large selection of potential solutions to challenges faced by all of us
as CEOs. This was a finely tuned leadership setting designed to help CEOs
achieve best-in-class business practices and I look forward to attending
next year."

The forum consisted of a series of exercises, lectures and activities
designed to foster a collaborative, team-oriented approach. Another key
component of the team-building program was the opportunity for each
portfolio company's CEO to use a scorecard for defining key measurements
to the success of his or her respective company.

"I found Triton Pacific's CEO conference to be of tremendous value,"
stated Laura Kall, CEO of Vayan Marketing Group. "This was a great
opportunity to let us focus on how we could become more effective at
running our companies and forced us to stop for a moment and re-think
many areas that were on auto-pilot, engrained in our culture, yet not
necessarily what was best for our companies. I look forward to learning
more next year."

The philosophy of Triton Pacific Capital Partners hinges on the belief
that it is important to partner with the management of its portfolio
companies and equip key executives with valuable resources from both
inside and outside of the private equity firm. For example, during the
three day conference Triton Pacific enlisted the assistance of renowned
management consultants who utilized a program known as The MAP Management
System(TM).

"We truly believe that continuous interaction between our firm and the
CEOs of our portfolio companies is a vital business practice," stated Ivan
Faggen, managing partner of Triton Pacific Capital Partners. "As such, it
is imperative to strip away titles and pretext, to raise issues,
brainstorm and provide alternative solutions. We used the MAP program to
help us reinforce that approach."

"Strong leadership is more important than ever. We have a responsibility
to our portfolio companies and our limited partners to do everything
within our means to help navigate through the transformation from an
entrepreneurial culture to a professionally run company," noted Faggen.
"Our CEO Conference helps us stay focused on the big picture. It is a
great opportunity for the CEOs of our portfolio companies to share best
practices and solve common challenges."

The annual event also featured Dr. Alfred E. Osborne, Jr., senior
associate dean of the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Through a
series of lectures and interactive programs, Dr. Osborne led the group on
a journey to unlocking the power and potential of themselves as
individuals and as members of a larger business entity.

The team-building program also featured a Ropes course. The Ropes course
offered participants an opportunity to overcome personal limitations
through exciting and rewarding mental, emotional and physical challenges.

"Investing in our CEOs is a critical component to our long term success as
a private equity firm," stated Faggen. "We believe such experiences can
become doorways into greater self-confidence, improved ability to relate
to others and opportunities to make empowering choices."
