Demand for CisionPoint has been driven by both new accounts and existing
customers using one or more of Cision's broad line of media research,
distribution, monitoring or analysis tools, the company said. CisionPoint's
customers range from Fortune 500 corporations and global public relations
firms to non-profit organizations, universities, and small businesses.
The new, on-demand CisionPoint platform integrates multiple services
through a single intuitive dashboard. It incorporates the Bacon's North
American Media Database, the largest and most up-to-date in the industry with
more than 10,000 updates to individual entries every day. Sales momentum has
grown since the May 2008 launch of three CisionPoint Editions -- Enterprise
for large, global organizations; Professional, for communications departments
and agencies; and Small Business, for very small organizations and solo
practitioners.
"CisionPoint's success and sales growth are strong evidence that our
integrated, on-demand Web 2.0 platform meets the growing needs for
communications management software-as-a-service," said Joe Bernardo, President
and CEO of Cision North America. "With CisionPoint's scalable functionality,
communications professionals are rapidly migrating to multiple Cision services
for support across the entire communication cycle -- Plan, Connect, Monitor
and Analyze."
CisionPoint, developed and launched in North America, is now being rolled
out as a foundation platform for Cision customers throughout the world,
according to a recent statement issued by Cision global CEO Niklas Flyborg.
With an easy-to-use interface, unlimited workspaces, and integration of
best-in-class services, CisionPoint is designed to improve the efficiency,
productivity and flexibility of communication processes -- providing essential
marketing automation functions such as campaign resource management,
