PulseCore Semiconductor Names Gene Schaeffer, Vice President of Worldwide
Sales and Marketing
Industry Veteran Brings Proven Track Record for Continued Strategic Growth
CAMPBELL, Calif., Aug. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- PulseCore Semiconductor, a
leading supplier of EMI-reduction integrated circuits (ICs), announced today
the appointment of Gene Schaeffer as Vice President, Worldwide Sales and
Marketing. Schaeffer will lead PulseCore's global sales and marketing efforts
as the company prepares for growth.
A veteran of the semiconductor industry, Schaeffer has over 20 years of
experience in both sales and marketing. He joins PulseCore from Exar
Corporation (formally Sipex Semiconductor), where he served as Vice President
of Worldwide Sales. Prior to Exar, Schaeffer was the Vice President of
Strategic Accounts at Cypress Semiconductor. During his eight-year career with
Cypress, he held positions of increasing responsibility in sales management
including Vice President of Channel Sales, Vice President of Americas Sales,
Director of Strategic Accounts and Lucent Strategic Account Manager. Schaeffer
began his semiconductor career in distribution, and spent eight years as a
manufacturer's representative in the Mid-Atlantic market.
