New Site is First in KinkMen .com Gay Erotica Network
SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Fetish adult entertainment leader
Kink .com enters the gay male market today with BoundGods .com, the first
adult site in its new network KinkMen .com. The new site features 30-45 minute
video and photo updates every Thursday, each with explicit gay sex and
elaborate bondage by site director Van Darkholme, a devotee of Shibari, a
complex form of rope bondage that originated in Japan.
Drawing on experienced actors in the gay adult field as well as interested
newcomers, BoundGods .com focuses on the powerful interactions between bondage
players, creating vignettes that have as much to do with real kinky play as
they do with creating an erotic fantasy.
KinkMen .com's parent company, Kink .com, is the leading network for
explicit adult entertainment with consensual and safe bondage, domination,
sadism and masochism (BDSM). Kink .com now publishes 12 adult
subscription-based websites, working toward its mission to "demystify and
celebrate alternative sexualities by providing the most ethical and authentic
kinky adult entertainment."
In several important ways, Kink .com differs from other adult websites and
DVD companies. Since the company's founding in 1997, Kink .com's videos have
shown explicit consent and negotiation in each scene, with the purpose of
educating viewers on sexual variation and safety as well as providing erotic
entertainment. The format has proven very influential.
In addition to its subscription sites, Kink .com offers BehindKink .com, a
free site with documentaries and news pieces on sexuality with an eye toward
fulfilling Kink .com's mission.
Kink .com created controversy early last year when it purchased the SF
Armory, a 200,000 square foot former National Guard fortress in San
Francisco's Mission District, to use as its corporate offices and as a
location for dungeon-based erotica. Company founder Peter Acworth's grounding
in the local arts culture inspired the community to support the company's
sex-positive mission and its move into the Armory.
Of the BoundGods .com launch, Acworth said: "I'm very excited about this
release in particular because it marks our first serious attempt to enter the
gay market. If Bound Gods is as successful as we think it will be, it will
open the doors to a whole suite of gay websites."
Kink .com now routinely offers press-only tours of the historic building,
built in 1914. Contact thomas@kink.com or visit www.Kink .com for more
information about the company.
