K's Media Executes Agreements for Advertising on More than 13,000 KTV Club
Karaoke Screens To-Date
BEIJING, Aug. 5 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- K's Media (the "Company") (OTC
Bulletin Board: KVME), a company engaged in specialized media and advertising
activities in China, announced today that the Company's contractual party
Beijing K's Media Advertising Ltd. Co. to-date has entered into contacts for
the provision of advertising with an aggregate of 329 KTV operators,
constituting a total of up to 13,147 electronic karaoke machine screens as of
July 31, 2008.
The Company was a pioneer in the identification of KTV lounges as its core
platform for the development of advertising placement. The Company targets
premium brands and displays their commercials on KTV screens in China's major
metropolitan cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen.
"It has only been 20 days since our last press release, and during that time
K's Media has added 72 more KTV clubs and 3,370 more screens, up from the 257
KTV clubs and 9,777 screens announced on July 11, 2008. Given this strong
adoption rate, the company is confident it will reach more KTVs in what the
company believes to be economically vibrant cities across China," stated Yan
Zhuang, CEO of the Company.
About the Company:
The Company targets premium brand advertisers by placing their commercials
in KTV lounges in China. Attempts to reach high-end consumers through
traditional advertising channels with powerful and visually appealing
presentations may be costly and inefficient. The Company believes that
placing ads in KTV lounges is both innovative and unique and could prove to be
a highly effective method of advertising. KTV lounges are popular in Asia,
providing private rooms with karaoke systems, which are used for group
entertainment or business purposes. The Company believes that advertising on
KTV screens offers an impressive and influential way to target high-end
consumers.
On January 18, 2008, the Company completed a Share Exchange Agreement with
Orient Come Holdings Ltd and Beijing K's Media Advertising Ltd. Co., which
transferred the Company from mineral exploration to the media and advertising
market.
