  TORONTO, ONTARIO, Aug 05 (MARKET WIRE) -- 
Gowest Amalgamated Resources Ltd. ("the Company") (TSX VENTURE: GWA), a
mineral exploration company, announces that options to purchase up to
370,000 common shares of the company have been granted to a director and
consultants of the company. The options are exercisable at $0.15 and are
exercisable until August 5, 2013.


 
 The options are subject to
regulatory approval.
