  HAMILTON, BERMUDA, Aug 05 (MARKET WIRE) -- 

Seadrill's second quarter 2008 results is scheduled to be released on
Thursday August 28, 2008. In connection with the earnings release, a
teleconference/webcast will be held as described below:

    TELECONFERENCE AND WEBCAST

    A conference call will be held at 5:00 P.M. (Norwegian time) on Thursday
August 28, 2008.

    To listen to the management presentation of the results, the following
