Credit Suisse has 5.87 pct Deutsche Bank stake

FRANKFURT (Reuters) - Swiss bank Credit Suisse Group (CSGN.VX) has amassed a voting stake of nearly 5.9 percent in Deutsche Bank (DBKGn.DE), Germany's biggest bank said on Tuesday.

In a mandatory disclosure statement, Deutsche Bank said Credit Suisse Group had informed it on Aug. 4 that its indirect stake built via financial instruments amounted to 5.87 percent as of July 28.

"The exercise period and the maturities for the financial instruments shall be from August 15, 2008 until December 6, 2011," the statement said.

In Zurich, Credit Suisse had no comment.
