WMS Industries quarterly net income up 29 pct

LOS ANGELES Aug 5 (Reuters) - Slot machine maker WMS Industries Inc (WMS.N) said on Tuesday its quarterly net income rose 29 percent as it shipped more units and revenue rose.
Fiscal fourth-quarter profit rose to $21.6 million, or 36 cents per share, from $16.7 million, or 29 cents per share, in the year-ago quarter.
