SEOUL Aug 6 (Reuters) - Seoul shares opened 2 percent higher on Wednesday, helped by a rally in Wall Street overnight after the U.S. Fed's decision to hold interest rates steady, while lower oil prices supported transport and manufacturing issues.

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index .KS11 was up 2.01 percent at 1,566.67 points as of 0002 GMT.
