Sponholz to Oversee Finance, Operations, and Sales & Marketing as COO

WILKES-BARRE, Pa., Aug. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- BabyAge.com today announced the
appointment of Joseph C. Sponholz as Chief Operating Officer reporting to
Chief Executive Officer and co-founder Jack Kiefer. Sponholz will be
responsible for finance, operations, sales and marketing and related
activities, supporting BabyAge's continued growth and competitive position in
the pregnancy, infant and juvenile product space.

    Sponholz joins BabyAge.com from Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc.,
where he was vice president of Strategic Planning, Business Development,
e-Commerce and Export. In that role, Sponholz helped shape Keystone's
e-Commerce business and market strategies in order to drive maximum return on
invested capital and value. Prior to joining Keystone, Sponholz spent 5 years
with Textron Inc. As a Director at E-Z-GO and at Textron Corporate, he worked
with clients to grow the business and improve profitability by managing
strategic planning, business development and productivity initiatives.  Prior
to joining Textron, Sponholz worked in management consulting at Booz Allen &
Hamilton and the Mitchell Madison Group and in law at Weil, Gotshal & Manges,
LLP and Morvillo Abramowitz.
    Sponholz has a bachelor's degree with honors in Politics from New York
University and a juris doctor degree from the Fordham University School of
Law.  He is the proud father of three girls, Niamh (6), Aine (4) and Tara (2)
and stepson Seamus (13).
