FACTBOX-Security developments in Iraq, Aug 24
(Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 10 a.m. British time on Sunday.
BAQUBA - Gunmen shot dead two policemen and wounded four others in an attack on a police checkpoint in central Baquba, 65 km (40 miles) northeast of Baghdad, police said.
BAGHDAD - Two roadside bombs exploding in quick succession near a police patrol killed four people, including a policeman, and wounded 15 in the district of Nahda, in central Baghdad, police said.
HILLA - Gunmen wounded two people in a drive-by shooting in southern Hilla, 100 km (60 miles) south of Baghdad, on Saturday, police said.
