CGGVeritas wins $140 mln Qatar contract

PARIS Aug 26 (Reuters) - French oil services group CGGVeritas (GEPH.PA) (CGV.N) said on Tuesday it had won a contract worth around $140 million from Qatar Petroleum to carry out a seismic survey on the Dukhan field in Qatar.

CGGVeritas shares closed at 26.51 euros in Paris on Monday, giving the company a stock market value of roughly 3.7 billion euros ($5.46 billion). The stock has fallen around 30 percent since the start of 2008.
