BLUE BELL, Pa.--(Business Wire)--
Unisys Corporation (NYSE:UIS) today announced that it has been
selected as the official provider of information technology (IT)
managed services for the 2008 Republican National Convention,
September 1-4 in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Through its oversight and services, Unisys is committed to making
the 2008 convention the most technically advanced convention in
Republican Party history. Unisys will provide IT management and
support services for more than 500 devices - including laptops, PCs,
printers and remote and local servers - used by members of the
Committee on Arrangements, which oversees convention operations, as
well as by volunteers managing e-mail and other critical
administrative tasks.

Unisys will have a full-time staff focused on managing the
convention's IT infrastructure. The Unisys staff will provide services
including equipment installation and changes, help desk and on-site
support, as well as project management and vendor coordination.

"We are pleased to have Unisys, a trusted provider of technology
services to government and businesses, as our information technology
support provider for this year's convention, especially given the
company's strong presence in the state of Minnesota," said Maria Cino,
president and chief executive officer of the convention. "With the
support of Unisys, our goal this year is to establish a benchmark for
the advanced use of IT in support of our national convention."

The server computers supporting the convention will be physically
housed in a remote data center in Eagan, Minnesota, while Unisys
professionals manage and monitor the servers from the Unisys data
center in Eagan, Minnesota. This data center encompasses more than
312,000 square feet and is a three-tiered facility supporting
enterprise server and mainframe computer systems.

Unisys recently expanded its Eagan data center, creating an
environmentally advanced outsourcing services facility. The new
facility integrates innovative, sustainable design elements into the
building's interior as well as multiple "green" land-based initiatives
outside the facility. The data center's sustainability features and
innovative development plan enhance service delivery for clients while
protecting the local environment and surrounding community.

"We are very excited and honored to be chosen for this role with
the Convention," said Greg Baroni, president, Unisys Federal Systems.
"This partnership gives Unisys a great opportunity to showcase our
expertise in secure IT outsourcing services to make this major
national event a success."
