Grout Repair Just Got Easier! Grout Getter Company Develops New Tool for Grout Removal Kit and Homeowners' Hard-To-Get Areas

MORRO BAY, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
Grout Getter Co. LLC has added another tool to assist in grout
removal. The patent pending Corner Pro(TM) tool utilizes a thin
tungsten carbide blade mounted vertically with two sharp angles of
attack on the tile grout. This allows the user to access and scrape
out grout in very hard-to-get areas. Where tile professionals and
homeowners would drudgingly use screwdrivers and flimsy utility
knives, they can now reach for the Corner Pro.

In 1991 Grout Getter Co. LLC developed the very popular Grout
Getter(TM) hand tool, which uses a triangular-shaped carbide blade to
remove grout. Company owner Michael Garman stated, "The professionals
immediately liked using the Grout Getter scraper. It was very quick
and efficient and didn't break or scratch tile like the power tools
did. Our new tool helped start several grout repair companies."

Homeowners know it's almost impossible to get a tradesman to bid a
small job like re-grouting around their kitchen sink or replacing a
cracked tile. Now, using the Grout Removal Kit, if you're scraping
grout or caulking from your sink, countertops, floors, tubs or
showers, it's much easier to fix yourself, not to mention the huge
cost savings.

Used as a team, the Grout Getter and Corner Pro will remove epoxy,
sanded and non-sanded grouts. As the user reaches a corner, curve or
tight area where the Grout Getter cannot access, the new Corner Pro
steps in and rips out the grout. Tasks such as shaving concrete and
mortar for the proper fit of tiles and tile liners is another benefit
of these carbide scrapers. On new installations, cleaning the grout
joints of thin set and debris before grouting is an important step
performed by the Corner Pro as well.

The suggested manufacturer's retail price is $19.75 for the "Grout
Removal Kit" (Item GRS210-P), which includes a Grout Getter with a
triangle carbide blade, an extra diamond carbide blade (for thin grout
joints), a changing wrench and the new Corner Pro scraper. The Corner
Pro (item GE77-P) and Grout Getter (G13T) are also sold separately.
Available at retailers or online.
